About Us

Pounders Park was founded in 2016, after having an influx of clients asking to use our fields to walk their dogs privately, away from crowds and in a secure location. Since then the business has thrived and we now have 3 private secure fields with an automated booking system, with CCTV, coded digital entry to the park areas, and a secure car park for clients.

As the park is fully automated it requires very little human input, and we provide the whole turnkey package including set up, training, land surveys, and associated specialist planning reports our franchisees would need to start up the business model. The long-term objective is to have our recognised national brand operating from multiple locations across the UK, with fully trained franchisees operating their prospective locations and prospering fully on their own.

Typically as a franchisee your day-to-day operations should consist of monitoring your booking and payment system, handling enquiries via the phone and email, and resolving any queries from your park clients. Keeping your social media platform regularly updated is also a must in order to engage existing and potential clients. The parks will also need to be regularly checked and maintained, but it is regarded as a part-time operation that can be done at the end of the week or when an issue arises. The majority of your business will be conducted via your phone/tablet or laptop.

The training we provide involves a week-long residential program whereby franchisees will join us at the HQ. This training will provide an extensive understanding of our systems, day-to-day running operations, and our payments/booking systems. We also help you to establish a client database and assist you in understanding cash flows, profit and loss, and trading accounts. We also focus on behavioural issues with dogs, to better help you understand the industry.
