“I wanted to stay in recruitment and was very attracted to doing all the work I did before in my previous role without the constant pressure and targets. I enjoyed the thought that all my hard work would benefit me and no body else.   I looked around for recruitment companies to franchise with but they were either wanting me to sign up to a yearly contract and pay a massive fee or they required no money but in return you also received nothing!  I then came across Additional Resources which offered everything I was looking for! I only had to sign up for an initial period (after this its just pay monthly), it was a minimal fee and the service you got was fantastic.   You get a huge number of job boards to work with and if you have been in recruitment before you will know how important they are to have!  You also got a sales and payroll back office which meant all the payroll was taken care of and if you wanted any jobs to work on without doing any sales, they are a phone call away! 
Initially I was very sceptical– it all seemed a bit too good to be true as there are some companies out there that you have to stay away from!  To be honest when I asked around no-body had heard of them but I thought I would take a risk and I’m glad I did!  From the start Tracy and Russell have been there for anything I have needed.  They have been so helpful along with Karen in the sales office. 
Working from home on your own means that you do have to be self motivated, and there are days when everything goes wrong and you have to have the resilience to pick yourself up and move on.  However, if you’re organised, like dealing with people on the phone and are prepared to put in the hours, you can make a good living.
