About Us

Baby College is a supportive, friendly and multi-award winning baby and toddler class business. They offer fun, insightful, development programmes to parents and young children in person and online together from birth up to three years old.
Baby College classes benefit babies AND parents in a variety of ways including boosting parental confidence and consolidating infant milestone skills. The programme has been formulated over the last 20 years using practical experience and scientific/medical research. Their research and development programme helps keep Baby College fresh and up to date.

The Baby College Franchise Opportunity:

All Baby College classes include lots of singing, dancing and music with Makaton signing, physical play and sensory games.
Franchisees run their own Baby College classes in their own large exclusive territories. After initial comprehensive training, franchisees are responsible for finding and booking venues, teaching classes (from 2 venues a week up to 10 venues a week either as a sole trader or with the help of one or two teachers) and marketing their Baby College Business.
Business admin is made simple as Baby College has an automated online booking and class management system that has been designed especially for their franchisees.

Premium and high-quality programme

Directors Bea Waterfield & Donna Twyford run the franchise from the headquarters in Oxford with the support and knowledge from a large network of collaborating early-years professionals, academics and health professionals in various organisations across the field. 
All Baby College topic insights are evidence-based and well-researched and constantly being updated and refreshed with the help of experts.
 
Recent collaborations include; the Baby Lab at Oxford Brookes University (Language Development), Professor Helen Ball at the Baby Sleep Information Source at Durham University (Sleep Development), and psychologists Professor Lauren Stewart and Dr. Caspar Addyman at Goldsmiths. 

Flexible Working

The Baby College class programme is designed around school terms (and there are optional summer holiday classes which can be run too). Franchisees can run classes between 30 to 48 weeks of the year depending on their needs. Classes can be run in the mornings or the afternoons or a mixture and now online too and it fits perfectly with school hours.

Training and Support:

Baby College provides well-planned training which covers 6 full days and includes class teaching, insight knowledge, operational training and marketing including social media training.  There are regular workshops and ongoing support from the directors and from the other members of the Baby College family.

Franchisees will need to have a passion for baby and child development.
