Launched in February 2018 by a group of well connected new product sourcing specialists, GroutGleam utilises breakthrough technology to refresh and recolour stained, mouldy and dirty grout in just a couple of hours. While the company’s branding concentrates on grout, the business has already added to its product portfolio, and now also offers a range of other complementary services including deep cleaning and protecting shower screens affected by hard water staining, and undertaking repairs to chipped granite or stone worktops and scuffed wood or laminate flooring.

Offering simple, effective and affordable solutions to real problems, GroutGleam pride themselves on identifying and supplying new products that solve genuine pain points. They are specialists in renewing and rejuvenating damaged surfaces to restore them to their former glory while saving homeowners the time, inconvenience and expense of entirely replacing their floors, worktops, grout or shower glass.

How does a GroutGleam franchise work?

GroutGleam franchise owners are supplied with specialist products and comprehensive training, enabling them to provide rejuvenation, restoration and protection services to consumer, professional, industrial and trade customers. GroutGleam supports the franchise owner with cutting-edge technology, tools and industry know-how, along with innovative and evolving processes and products.

How much does a GroutGleam franchise cost?

There are three tiers of GroutGleam franchise opportunities to choose from – Approved Technician, Business Developer and Area Director.

  • An Approved Technician is a hands-on operator covering a single territory and requires £3,500 +VAT in start up fees, plus £195 per month management fee.
  • The Business Developer package is for GroutGleam franchisees wishing to be both a hands-on and management operator, covering a double territory for £5,250 +VAT plus £270 per month management fee, while the Area Director is a team management operator covering a triple size territory for a £7,000 +VAT GroutGleam franchise fee plus £345 per month management fee.

GroutGleam franchise owners do not pay monthly fees for their first two months of business, and the start-up costs have been kept deliberately low to launch the business, so may rise for franchisees joining in the future.

What do you get for your GroutGleam franchise fee?

The GroutGleam franchise fee includes a generous starter package with enough stock to recover the initial investment, along with demonstration cases (one per territory covered), training and certification and a consumer website. GroutGleam franchisees are also offered ongoing support with enquiry management, intelligent email engagement and social media, from an initial new business launch campaign to a more long-term targeted approach.
