Although very traditional, we were surprised at how the legal industry are embracing modern practices. Outsourcing, homeworking and technology, for example, already play a significant role.
Many industries still believe in keeping all admin in-house but the legal sector is very aware of the benefits. As fee earners, any time spent on admin and paperwork is billable client-time lost.
In some ways the legal industry is actually ahead of the game compared to some younger industries. It was exciting to see a traditional profession so open to change and adaptation to thrive in today’s business environment.
